SharePointの容量が1TBになったことで、お客様にSharePointの利用を薦めることが多くなりました。
とても喜ばしいことなのですが、１つ厄介な問題があります。
それは32ビットと64ビットの問題です。
Windows7の32ビット版を使っている人には関係ないのですが、Windows8以降の人は結構引っ掛かる問題です。
その原因ですが、SharePointを同期できるOneDriveアプリはOfficeアプリの一部として提供されます。
Officeアプリを使っていない人は問題ないのですが、多くの人はExcelなどを使っています。
そしてほとんどの人は32ビット版のOfficeアプリがインストールされています。
それに対してOneDriveアプリはOSのビット数と同じものしかインストールできません。
そしてwindows8、8.1、10を使っている人の多くは64ビットのOSになっています。
これらのことから、64ビット版のOSに32ビット版のOfficeアプリをインストールしている人は、64ビット版のOneDriveアプリをインストールできないということになります。
つまりSharePointの同期ができないというわけです。
次世代のOneDrive for Businessアプリは、Officeアプリとは関係なくインストールされますので、OSのビット数に合わせたものがインストールできます。
早く次世代のOneDrive for BusinessアプリでもSharePointの同期ができるようになってほしいです。

I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my own weblog and was wondering what all is required to get setup? I'm assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I'm not very web savvy so I'm not 100% sure. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
